Optimal Controls for Stochastic Partial Differential Equations with an Application in Population Modeling

Published: 01 January 2016 Publication History

Abstract

An optimal control problem for a system of stochastic partial differential equations with nonlocal terms is considered. The control of this system is motivated by a model for optimal harvesting of a population on a spatial grassland habitat. Existence of optimal controls and necessary conditions for the optimal control of such systems are established.
