Abstract
This column discusses the IFIP World Computer Congress held every two years. The most recent IFIP World Congress was held in Canberra, Australia, in September of 1996. The Fifteenth IFIP World Congress will be in Vienna, Austria, and Budapest, Hungary, from August 31 to September 4, 1998. The World Congress in the year 2000 will be held in Beijing, China.
