Evaluation of the Application Effect of Hospital Information System in Neurology Nursing Management

Abstract

Objective: To study the nursing information module in the HIS system and to evaluate the application effect in the clinical nursing management of neurology department. Methods: The study selected from December 2017 to December 2018 in our hospital neurology medical staff as the research object, randomly selected 40 nursing staff, aged 23-45 years old, education: 10 undergraduates, 30 junior colleges, professional titles of nursing staff: 5 cases were deputy chief nurse or above, 15 cases were nurses, and 20 cases were nurses. The improvement of nursing quality before and after the use of the HIS nursing information module, including the assessment of nurses’ communication and management, health education, nursing enthusiasm, work efficiency, environmental management, etc., compare the writing time of nursing documents and monthly workload statistics before and after the application of the HIS nursing information module Time, as well as the time of receiving and distributing drugs, compare the changes in the number of adverse nursing events before and after the application of the nursing information module of the HIS system. Results: After using the nursing module of the HIS system, the service quality and work efficiency of nurses were improved, the time consumed by nurses' monthly workload statistics and the writing of shift reports were shortened, and the satisfaction of doctors and patients with nursing work, nursing adverse events and nursing patients The incidence of disputes decreased, which was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: The application of HIS system nursing information module in neurology nursing management can greatly reduce the workload of nursing staff, improve the efficiency of nursing management, ensure nursing safety, and significantly reduce the incidence of poor nursing time.
