  • Abstract

The traditional algorithm does not make full use of the redundant virtual elements in the same position of the "difference array", which still contain a lot of target parameter information. In this paper, a new processing algorithm is proposed. The redundant virtual elements in the same position are summated, and then the average value is calculated. The average value of the same element position is used to replace the original value of only one virtual element in the same position, so that a virtual received signal which makes full use of the virtual redundant elements can be obtained. Then the music algorithm is used to estimate the spatial spectrum to get DOA. Then, the algorithm is extended from single base nested array to double base nested array. The simulation results show that the algorithm is effective in two kinds of array structures.
