Research on the Invulnerability of Power Communication Network

Published: 21 September 2013 Publication History

Abstract

Electric Power industry is the basis of one country. Power communication network is an important part of the electric power system. The reliability of power communication network has great effects on the safe, steady, economic and high-quality operation of the smart power grid. In order to protect the security and stability of power communication network, an invulnerability analysis method based on complex network theory is proposed in this paper. The topology model of power communication network is constructed firstly. Then the invulnerability index of power communication network is established by the complex network theory. Furthermore, the invulnerability analysis model is accomplished based on the topological characteristics of power communication network. At last, the invulnerability of power communication network and the nodes in the network is analyzed by the invulnerability index. Experiment result shows that the method proposed here can analyze the invulnerability of power communication network effectively.
