Abstract
These are the proceedings of the 20th annual event of IDEAS and marks the passing of its teen years in this important series of annual meetings. The terms data and big data have now reached everyday use with very little understanding of what they entail. In the meantime the amount of data continues to grow as well as its rate of growth.
