About TECS
The design of embedded computing systems, both the software and hardware, increasingly relies on sophisticated algorithms, analytical models, and methodologies. ACM Transactions on Embedded Computing Systems (TECS) aims to present leading works relating to the analysis, design, behaviour, and experience with embedded computing systems. It is published six times a year, plus one.The scope of TECS includes, but is not limited to, the following topics:
- Embedded software design and analysis
- Architectures, accelerators, and system synthesis
- Hardware-software codesign
- System-level modelling and analysis
- Verification and validation
- Real-time systems
- Security, privacy, reliability
- Low-power design and sustainability
- Embedded machine learning
- Autonomous embedded systems
- Industrial practices and case studies
- Embedded systems education
As the premier journal in embedded computing systems, TECS welcomes original research articles, industry design papers, perspectives, tutorials, and surveys that help advance the field by addressing the key challenges.
