Felix Larrinaga

Dr Felix Larrinaga is currently a lecturer and a researcher at Mondragon University (Basque Country, Spain). Since 2000, he combines lecturing and research at Mondragon University with an extensive experience in industrial work as a project leader. Mondragon University is part of Mondragon Corporation, a cooperative group with over 84000 workers (85% of those workers are cooperative members). He has actively participated in the creation of the new research team on Web Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering. The research activities of the group are in the areas of interoperability, social web technologies, and more recently semantic web technologies. The team works on multidisciplinary projects with other universities, technological centers and enterprises in areas such smart cities; CITyFiED (http://www.cityfied.eu/), SMARTEnCity (https://smartencity.eu/) and REnnovates (https://rennovates.eu/), Industry 4.0; Mantis (http://www.mantis-project.eu/), Productive 4.0 (https://productive40.eu/) and QU4LITY ( https://qu4lity-project.eu/) or interoperability; Arrowhead (http://www.arrowhead.eu/). Dr Larrinaga obtained his PhD in Mobile Communications at Staffordshire University (UK) in 1999. Previously, he finished the BSc (Hons) in Industrial Electronics at Mondragon University in 1995.
