Critical remarks about a paper on limitations for artificial intelligence

Published: 01 November 1978 Publication History

Abstract

The journal INFORMATION SYSTEMS has printed a methodologically very interesting paper of V. Cherniavsky entitled "On algorithmic natural language analysis and understanding" [1]. However, a rigorous analysis of the paper shows that it contains a hidden fallacy which makes its results questionable.
