Abstract

Mobile cloud computing (MCC) has become an emerging technology given the explosive growth of mobile devices and advances in cloud computing in recent years. Data security and privacy are the main issues preventing individuals and organizations from adopting MCC despite the benefits it promises. Security professionals need to be trained on the new data security threats introduced by MCC. Building on open source software, this paper presents a portable architecture for teaching data security threat analysis and defense in the mobile cloud computing environment
