Research on Internet Financial Risks and its Supervision from an Internet Economy Perspective

Published: 25 April 2018 Publication History

Abstract

Internet economy is a new kind of commercial activity that has been produced based on Internet technology and that derives from traditional financial system. The complexity of financial system, the virtuality and uncontrollability of the Internet make the Internet financial risk larger than traditional ones. Financial risks will affect the whole financial market, so studying Internet financial risks and the supervision countermeasures is related to the stability of China's financial market. As a newly emerging industry, Internet finance doesn't have a clear regularity and is influenced by both the financial market environment and the government's regulation. The emergence of Internet finance changes the traditional financial rules and models.
