Secure THz communication with multiplexed orbital angular momentum beams: poster

Published: 15 May 2019 Publication History

Abstract

In this poster, we will present methods for generation of Bessel-Gaussian beams with higher order orbital angular momentum (OAM) for secure point to point links at terahertz frequencies. We investigate the methods for generating the spiral and radially phased excitations and their relation to the far-field beams generated using the method. The work describes the typical aperture sizes, methods of beam control and beam width related features that can be achieved.
