Design and Implementation of Smart Home Remote Monitoring System Based on Android Mobile Phone

Abstract

According to the needs of many families, a smart home security system based on Android platform is designed. The overall design scheme of the system is given in this paper. The system is deeply analyzed from hardware and software by modules. The indoor electrical appliances, window curtains, anti-theft detectors, harmful gas detectors and monitors are controlled by remote smart phones. The concentration of domestic gas, smoke and indoor temperature and humidity are monitored in real time. According to the test results, sound alarm and mobile phone information alarm are adopted. The function of Android client software is tested and verified. The results show that the system runs smoothly and has good stability, and has widely application value.
