Third International Workshop on Experiences and Empirical Studies on Software Reuse (WEESR 2020)

Published: 19 October 2020 Publication History

Abstract

The Workshop on Experiences and Empirical Studies on Software Reuse (WEESR) aims to allow researchers and practitioners discuss in-progress research regarding experiences and empirical studies applying reuse techniques in non-academic environments. The third edition of this workshop, the WEESR 2020, was co-located with the Software Product Lines Conference at 2020 (SPLC'20). There, attendants discussed three original papers and a journal-first paper presenting empirical studies, reuse in companies not aware of software product lines, systematic reviews and evaluations of companies interested on adopting product lines. In addition, we have two invited talks of Sten Grüner and Thorsten Berger discussing experiences and challenges found in companies adopting SPLE for their products.
