Cloud Architecture Research and Design of CAM Collaborative Design Platform for Laser Processing

Published: 19 April 2023 Publication History

Abstract

Traditional CAM software is mostly local software, which can't meet the requirements of real-time design and modification of drawings by multi-users in different places in laser processing industry. A two-dimensional CAM collaborative design platform is studied. The platform uses the existing CRDT algorithm implementation technology to build a collaboration engine, adopts cloud architecture, and consists of three main modules: collaborative data sharing, collaborative message processing and collaborative multi-user chat. The software workflow is optimized according to the requirements of manufacturing industry, and the interaction between front-end collaborative design interface and the back-end management information system is carried out. The collaborative design platform can provide functional support for collaborative design of 2D CAM software in laser processing industry, meet the demands of real-time collaborative design of multi-users in different places, improve the work efficiency and reduce the workload of enterprise designers.
