Application of case-based PBL teaching method in the teaching of Network and Service Engineering

Published: 24 August 2023 Publication History

Abstract

The course is guided by the goal of cultivating builders for a strong cyber country. In response to issues such as low teaching goal positioning, difficulty in adapting teaching methods to the cultivation of professional talents in the new era, and an outdated teaching quality evaluation mechanism, the course has established teaching goals for cultivating network technology talents with sustainable competitiveness, constructed a closed-loop course organization and ideological infiltration path based on case-based PBL teaching method, and created a diversified evaluation system oriented towards the process through multi-fusion and multi-integration. A mixed online and offline teaching approach is used to implement innovation in teaching concepts, methods, and evaluation systems. The practice has shown that students' scientific and technological innovation ability has been continuously strengthened, and their cognitive ability, initiative, and executive ability for sustainable competitiveness to adapt to rapid technological development and change have significantly improved. The teaching team has communicated and promoted the experiences through conference reports, visits to colleges and universities, and online seminars with over 20 domestic universities, achieving a good demonstration and leading effect.
