  • Abstract

To accurately measure the liquid level of highly reactive liquid metal sodium with large temperature differences and high temperatures in nuclear reactors, a non-contact ultrasonic liquid level monitoring system is designed in this paper. The CX9261S chip is used to transmit and receive ultrasonic waves and form a Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) phased array to solve the problem of decreased accuracy caused by liquid level fluctuations when the liquid metal sodium enters and exits. The CY7C68013A chip is used for information transmission and control from the host computer, and a liquid metal sodium level measurement and monitoring software is developed using C# language. The software enables the collection and processing of liquid level, temperature, and pressure, as well as real-time curve plotting. After multiple experiments, the software has proven to be reliable, user-friendly, and suitable for industrial applications, with high confidentiality and ease of operation, providing valuable reference for the industry.
