Relationship analysis and price prediction of supermarket vegetable based on ARIMA model

Published: 29 May 2024 Publication History

Abstract

In the fresh supermarket, the general shelf life of vegetable commodities is relatively short, and the supermarket usually replenishes the stock every day according to the historical sales and demand of each commodity. In this paper, the optimization of pricing and replenishment decision of supermarket vegetables is studied and analyzed. First, we study the distribution of commodity sales and the trend of sales over time, explore the relationship between different vegetable types by using Pearson coefficient, and then predict the future price trend by using the basic autoregressive integral moving average model (ARIMA).
