A numerical fitting model between the concentration of asphyxiating gases (CO and HCN) and poisoning risk levels

Published: 22 January 2025 Publication History

Abstract

The study focuses on CO, HCN, and a mixture of CO and HCN as the main research objects. By employing the curve fitting method, an expression linking CO, HCN concentrations with poisoning risk levels is established. This polynomial fitting approach combines insights from medical research, occupational poisoning statistics, and other relevant data to accurately represent the relationship between mixed gas concentrations of CO and HCN and their associated harm. The results demonstrate a high fitting degree with small statistical characteristic coefficients for all 3 expressions, providing a reliable model for studying the impact of asphyxiating gas concentration on poison-related harm.
