  • Abstract

Management Information Systems (MIS) books usually survey decision theory and behavioral issues as they apply to the information system's environment. The material covered is theoretical in nature leaving the student with little awareness of the importance of individual decision processes and information usage. In order to link this theory with the real world environment, I have developed a simulation which has been tested in several sections of an MBA course in Management Information Systems. This paper describes that simulation.
