Concept notion for automatic and dynamic thesaurus updating.

Published: 22 January 1982 Publication History

Abstract

We study a methodology for automatic thesaurus construction in order to help the search of documents relevant to a query. This paper aims at presenting how the word-meaning can be analysed automatically, statistically and empirically from discourse data and formally represented as fuzzy subsets of vocabulary, fuzzy relations and classes for thesaurus.
