This paper presents the research conducted by Social Education’s professionals and professors at the University of the Basque Country. This survey stems from an earlier study, which found that one of the main features in the field of Social Education aimed for children in vulnerable situations in the Basque Autonomous Community is concretely the heterogeneity and lack of coordination both in the institutional framework and in the actual practice of interventions, as well as the relationships among the different professionals dealing with unprotected children. Such a project was funded by the University of the Basque Country, at the University-Society calling, trying to promote knowledge flows between university and society, throughout social agents. Therefore, according to those needs and to proved consistency with the scientific community (Includ-Ed), as well as with the institutional and educational model promoted by the University of the Basque Country (IKD Model), an experience based on communicative methodology will be presented under the following title: “Perception of the relationship between social and education professionals involved with unprotected children in the Basque Autonomous Community”. Such a methodology encourages the action of all participants of the team throughout the entire process, ensuring horizontal relationship.
