Ehhez többek között Ernst van Alphen „Symptoms of Discursivity: Experience, Memory and Trauma” című, 1999-ben megjelent cikkét használom fel, melyben azt állítja, hogy a tapasztalat, az emlékezet és a trauma diszkurzív alapú. A diszkurzivitás négy szimptómáját, azaz a holokauszt négy reprezentációs problémáját különbözteti meg: a szubjektum- és objektumpozíció összemosódását, a szubjektumpozíció teljes tagadását, a narratív keretek hiányos mivoltát és a narratív keretek teljes tagadását. Ezeket igyekszem kimutatni „A lakcím” című rövidtörténetben, majd ehhez kapcsolódva vizsgálom a szubjektumpozíciót és a narratív keretet a Keserű fű című kisregényben. Végül azt a helyreállítási folyamatot vizsgálom, amelynek eredményeképpen a mesében a diszkurzívitás szimptómái felszámolódnak. Szóba kerülnek az olyan, a pikareszk műfajára emlékeztető narratív technikák, mint az epizódok egymáshoz lazán fűződő szekvenciái, a szereplők nevének vagy éppen névtelenségének jelentésmódozatai, az elhallgatások, megakadások, csendek jelentősége, Hemingway jéghegy-elméletének a Mincói írásművészetben való alkalmazása, a szubjektum önmagától való elidegenedése, a tárgyak szimbolizációja és metaforizációja, melyek mind a három műben különféle átalakuláson mennek keresztül.

Transformations of Memory and Discursivity in the Works of Marga Minco
Three works by the Dutch holocaust survivor Marga Minco (1920–2024) which are analyzed in this paper: "Het adres” [The Address] (1957/2003), the short novel Het bittere kruid [Bitter Herbs](1957/1979) and the children’s story Kijk 'ns in de la [Just Take a look in the drawer] (1963). I shall examine how, through the activation of transformations, the author turns elements of her personal life first into autobiographical literature, and then what further transformations are needed to construct a humorous, absurdist tale from the same elements. To do this, I draw, among other things, on Ernst van Alphen's 1999 article "Symptoms of Discursivity: Experience, Memory and Trauma", in which he argues that experience, memory and trauma are discursive in nature. He distinguishes four symptoms of discursivity, i.e. four representational problems of the holocaust: the confusion of subject and object positions, the complete denial of the subject position, the incompleteness of narrative frames and the complete denial of narrative frames. I try to detect these in the short story "Het adres", and further on I go out to look at the subject position and the narrative frame in the short novel Het bittere kruid. Finally, I examine the process of reconstruction that results in the elimination of the symptoms of discursivity in the children’s tale. Narrative techniques reminiscent of the picaresque genre are discussed, such as the loosely linked sequences of episodes, the use of different names or the anonymity of the characters, the significance of silences, pauses, suppressions and omissions in the narrative, the application of Hemingway's iceberg-theory, the alienation of the subject from herself, the symbolization and metaphorization of objects, which undergo various transformations in all three works.

Mit találtak a magyar értelmiségiek érdekesnek, értékesnek, kölcsönzésre érdemesnek a holland nyelvű kultúrából? A magyar kultúra mely részeiről gondolkodott hasonlóan a holland anyanyelvű értelmiség? Mi módon zajlott a kulturális transzfer 1700 kilométer távolságból a tizenhetedik századtól egészen napjainkig?

A műveken keresztül a holland századforduló szellemi-kulturális klímájáról is képet ad, melynek egyik legjellegzetesebb vonása a különféle művészeti ágak összefonódása, együttműködése. A 19. század végén és a 20. század elején fejlődésnek indult holland festészet kiemelkedő alkotásai illusztrálják a kötetet. A Szerző komparatisztikai tanulmányai olyan stilisztikai, tartalmi, formai sajátosságokat elemeznek, amelyek a kor általános kulturális tendenciáinak következtében a festészetben és az irodalomban is kimutathatók. Narrative techniques reminiscent of the picaresque genre are discussed, such as the loosely linked sequences of episodes, the use of different names or the anonymity of the characters, the significance of silences, pauses, suppressions and omissions in the narrative, the application of Hemingway's iceberg-theory, the alienation of the subject from herself, the symbolization and metaphorization of objects, which undergo various transformations in all three works.

of ideologies. But how do these ideologies work, and how do they serve to legitimize various forms of subjugation? Judit Gera surveys literary representations of the Dutch colonial experience and of women’s lives in male-dominated societies, showing how colonial and gender-based forms of subjugation are interrelated and often intersect.
