  • curprev 20:4920:49, 13 July 2024Shahryar95IR talk contribsm 10,308 bytes −33 For love of god, there is no ''H'' at the end in the persian language, please understand this, the modern persian is written in arabic alphabet which does not have vowls, so during the middle ages when scholars write down persian using the arabi alphabets, they used a so called silent ''H'' to show that the word is ending with ''E'' پروانهParvaneh is pronounced as پروانParvane, just like it was described in it's original form with Avestan script ''𐬞𐬄𐬭𐬓𐬀𐬥𐬇'' undo Tag: Reverted
  • curprev 20:4120:41, 13 July 2024Shahryar95IR talk contribsm 10,341 bytes −1 This is a common missunderstanding of persian litterature. Kamanche in it's Avesta version or middle persian was written as ''𐬐𐬄𐬨𐬀𐬥𐬳𐬆'' pronounced ''Kamanche'' (ending with /æ/ & not with /h/) but in the middle ages, because there are no letter ''E'' in arabic writing system, the persian scholars then started to use ''ه'' to make sure an ''E'' would be pronounced while in persian language no words can end with an''H''.ex: ''پروانهParvaneh'' in arabic form is ''پروانParvane''. undo Tag: Reverted
