Babs Olusanmokun is a Nigerian-American[1][2] actor best known for playing Dr. Joseph M'Benga in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (2022–present) and Jamis in Dune[3] (2021) and Dune: Part Two (2024). He also appeared in the video game Max Payne 3 as Serrano, a role that he both voices and performs motion capture for.[4]

Olusanmokun was born in Lagos, Nigeria, and is based in New York.[2]

Olusanmokun is fluent in English, French, Yoruba and Portuguese, and is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt and champion.[5][6]
