"the name of the island itself is the same as the name of the principal town"

edit

If "the name of the island itself is the same as the name of the principal town", then why are the main towns in the examples not called like the islands? They are called "Chora", while the island is called something different. The quoted statement is either incorrect, or is supposed to mean something else but is badly worded. If it were correct, then the island and the main town would share the same name, but the town is called Chora and the island is called something different in all of these cases. 213.45.123.134 (talk) 21:33, 12 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
