editWikipedia is getting on my nerves, I was trying to provide more FACTS about H.O.T and they just kept deleting it. I added H.O.T's fan color and that they wrote their own songs, but someone here kept saying I am advertsing or placing ads or my info being uncontrucive!?!?!? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.81.122.162 (talk) 17:34, 28 September 2010 (UTC) --ISSUE RESOLVED! 64.81.122.162 (talk) 18:03, 28 September 2010 (UTC)

This page is really messy...but unfortunately, I know very little about H.O.T. SKS2K6 08:43, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
- Yea.. This article's getting really annoying. It's very obvious that fans contributed to this article without knowing what the hell wikipedia is... mirageinred 21:54, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
I took out the part said they broke up because of financial issue, because no one really know the real reason.
H.O.T.'s disbandment
editSomeone please edit or rewrite the part about H.O.T.'s breakup. I fixed it up a little so that the previously stated false information wouldn't stay up, but it still needs to be polished eventually.
The real reasons regarding their breakup were never officially released to the public, therefore financial reasons still remain as unverified rumors TO THIS DAY.
Fair use rationale for Image:SMTown - 2001 Winter Vacation in SMtown-com - Angel Eyes.JPG
editImage:SMTown - 2001 Winter Vacation in SMtown-com - Angel Eyes.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 09:49, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

editUm, I have his first album & I wouldn;t call it R&B. It's more like a strange blend of techno, metal, & ballad. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.160.123.254 (talk) 13:53, 22 September 2010 (UTC)

H.O.T. has yet to officially get back together
editH.O.T. reunited for 1 Infinite Challenge episode. They have yet to officially get back together or sign contracts. They have also strongly deny rumors of an upcoming concert, so please until they officially get back together don’t assume that they have started promotions again. I know we all want it, but it’s basically pressuring them. Vvl12 (talk) 02:00, 4 April 2018 (UTC)

Requested move 29 July 2021
edit- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
The result of the move request was: Moved. Consensus is the current title is unnecessarily disambiguated as the undisambiguated title already redirects to this article, and that the dots in the title adequately distinguish from plain HOT. (non-admin closure) В²C ☎ 12:44, 7 August 2021 (UTC)
H.O.T. (band) → H.O.T. – WP:QUALIFIER; It is unnecessary for there to be a parenthetical in the title when the name "H.O.T.", with its full stops after each letter, is as unique as it can get on its own. And there is no other article on this website with this exact name styling. beetricks ~ 💬 · ✉️ 15:42, 29 July 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose oppose oppose HOT is a common acronym. In ictu oculi (talk) 18:11, 29 July 2021 (UTC)
- Support: H.O.T. is already a redirect to this article and has been since 2014, so the disambiguation seems unnecessary here. In fact, it was actually created as a redirect by you, @In ictu oculi:. The disambiguation page for HOT mentions one other entry using the acronym H.O.T., however the article is actually titled Hawaii Opera Theatre and uses the acronym HOT without the full stops. Alex (talk) 19:48, 29 July 2021 (UTC)
- Support and hatnote per WP:SMALLDETAILS. 85.67.32.244 (talk) 20:39, 29 July 2021 (UTC)
- Support, this is the only entry titled H.O.T., all the others are titled Hot or HOT. JIP | Talk 01:13, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
- That's a minor stylism. The acronym HOT (hypovolaemia, oxygenation, tension pneumothorax) is used to describe simultaneous interventions to rapidly treat reversible causes of cardiac arrest. In ictu oculi (talk) 14:27, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
- Support While there are other "HOT" acronyms, it's clear that when using this specific punctuation format this is the intended target for readers, and we do not benefit from intentionally directing them elsewhere.--Yaksar (let's chat) 02:43, 3 August 2021 (UTC)
- Support H.O.T. is a separate entry. It is not the same as HOT. SkylightXO (talk) 14:43, 5 August 2021 (UTC)
