Is there any reason that the founding year is 1996 the first year of super12 and not the year the first Waratahs team was formed?Soundabuser 05:35, 25 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

When were they formed? Are we talking about the S12 side or would it be the first year a NSWRU team played? Or are those two different things? I dunno, change it if you know what it is. Forever young 02:03, 26 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
I believe that 1999 was thier 125th anniversary, so that would put the founding date at 1874. Ronan.evans 02:00, 25 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Kurtley Beale rugby prodigy?

edit

How is someone who can't make the run on side considered a prodigy? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.106.208.158 (talk) 12:48, 9 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

An excellent question, but please have a read of Wikipedia:Talk page: Article talk pages are for discussing improvements to their associated articles, not for casual conversation. --Stormie (talk) 22:48, 9 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Statistics

edit

Hi all - something that I would really like to see are some Waratah statistics dating back to pre 1996. I have read recently that the up-coming Super 14 match between the Waratahs and the Reds is their 287th game - yet I can only find stats since 1996 - ie "Super Rugby" statistics. Some stats in the Waratahs program include non-Super Rugby games, ie NSW caps, but it is very hard to find anything else. Does anyone have any ideas? (Westius 09:40, 11 April 2007 (UTC))Reply

There is a book that has been published recently on the Waratahs. I'm pretty sure it's commemorating the 125 anniversary or something. Surely that would have the statistics? - Shudda talk 10:28, 11 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
I found it, it's called "Guardians of the Game" - first published in 2004. There is a brief description here. - Shudda talk 12:05, 11 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:NSWWaratahsOldLogo.gif

edit

Image:NSWWaratahsOldLogo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Any reason a current list of sponsors isn't included? Like - HSBC, The Blackdot and others? M0z (talk) 05:27, 20 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Section anchors

edit

I have reinstated the anchors {{anchor|A|U19|U20}} for Development teams and {{anchor|Women|W}} for the Women's team section, as per WP:ANCHOR. Without these, existing section wikilinks from other pages in the encyclopedia are broken. -- Ham105 (talk) 04:05, 28 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
