Talk:Oscar F. Perdomo

Ace in a day

edit

He is not only the last ace-in-a-day in World War II, he is the last U.S. ace-in-a-day of any war. And with the possible (but disputed) exception of Muhammad Mahmood Alam, is he not the last ace-in-a-day of any nation? Barrett Tillman has said there likely will be no more aces, which would make him the last ever. Kablammo 02:35, 25 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Date he was recalled to active duty

edit

The article states: " On January 30, 1950, Perdomo was recalled to active duty upon the outbreak of the Korean War with the rank of Captain. "

I have to believe it was actually June 30, 1950 when he was recalled, as the Korean War didn't start until June 25, 1950.

I have no authoritative information to back up the June 30 date, however. 220.215.160.136 06:36, 25 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
