Hot 100
editThere was no Hot 100 chart in 1950. --StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 02:06, 20 July 2012 (UTC)
- I just checked and this person is right. From Billboard Hot 100: "On the week ending November 12, 1955, Billboard published The Top 100 for the first time." Billboard was using three lists in 1950 -- 1) Best Sellers in Stores; 2) Most Played by Jockeys; and 3) Most Played in Jukeboxes. Rissa, Guild of Copy Editors (talk) 04:13, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
- On August 4, 1958, the Top 100 Chart was converted to an all-genre singles chart and renamed The Billboard Hot 100. (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billboard_Hot_100)--Nhschmidt (talk) 23:45, 19 February 2016 (UTC)Nhschmidt
