DOB
editThe Indian Express source says she was 26 in December 2020. The Bollywood Hungama source says she was 28 in September 2023. The lede shows year of birth as 1994 while the Infobox shows 1995. For now I have undone Naanioffl's change of year of birth edit at the Infobox, to be consistent with the lede, and restore the status quo. We would need a third source to finalize the year of birth. - I have removed the Indian Express source and used the Bollywood Hungama source, which is from September 2023. While the below interview will not be used a cited source, she does say that the internet has got her year of birth wrong. Jay 💬 11:15, 23 November 2024 (UTC)

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. The current cited sources have her being 26 in December of 2020, which would make her born in 1994. DrOrinScrivello (talk) 14:24, 21 November 2024 (UTC)

- Still not done You're going to need a source that's verifies the birth date in English, this is the English Wikipedia. How can readers or editors verify a claim in a spoken foreign language, besides Youtube is not a very good source for a birthdate. - FlightTime (open channel) 20:54, 22 November 2024 (UTC)
- Well, even when the person herself has claimed that the info is wrong? Also, my mistake; the exact statement made there (in english) is- "I was 2 years old - 1997", and the rest of the claims like "the info across the internet about my birth year is wrong" were made and said in Hindi. Also fortunately got a website mentioning 1995– https://www.indiaforums.com/person/triptii-dimri_13666
- Also almost all the websites have the birth year mentioned against her own statement and ofcourse this had to be and has to be taken care of by her team. - YouTube is self-published and not considered a reliable source (WP:RSPYT), however Triptii Dimri's own verified social media accounts could be used as a source about herself in her article (WP:SOCIALMEDIA). Non-English sources are not a problem, and they are allowed in the English wikipedia (WP:NONENG). Jay 💬 09:45, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
