Unnecessary

edit

Why are the actors chinese name unnecessary in this case? These are the ones with no wiki links. The caps can be fixed later. Lee Yiu-King can be interpreted as many different people. Benjwong (talk) 09:04, 12 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

There's a corresponding page on Chinese Wikipedia, so people who are confused can clarify using Chinese Wiki. If you include the Chinese names for the actors here, it'll be repetitive, therefore they're unnecessary. I've also done the same on Rise of the Great Wall. I offer my apologies if you're offended. _LDS (talk) 09:09, 12 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
For the Barbara Chan problem, as I've mentioned in the edit summary, we can add in the actress' full name to eliminate confusion. _LDS (talk) 09:11, 12 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
I am not offended. I am curious. It was already done. Seem strange to delete it. Benjwong (talk) 09:15, 12 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

What's your take on the issue about whether the characters' names should be in Cantonese or Mandarin? It's been quite a big problem I've encountered on Hong Kong TV series. See Talk:A Step into the Past. We should standardize everything and stick to it. _LDS (talk) 09:19, 12 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Honestly I don't have the time to fix all of these drama series. Benjwong (talk) 09:23, 12 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
No, I'm just seeking your opinion on whether the characters' names should be in Cantonese or Mandarin. You're still welcome to help me if you want. I think Cantonese should be used, since the series' default language is Cantonese and that they're produced in HK. _LDS (talk) 09:27, 12 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
