More details in satellite list

edit

It would be great if the list of satellites could be made into a table to include the UV wavelength range and dates of the start and end of operation. - Rod57 (talk) 09:40, 1 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Which are imaging (many filters?), which are spectrographic ? Could do dates using timeline scripts - and another for wavelengths of current telescopes ? Eg from Hubble Space Telescope :

Which of the listed telescopes have new or unique capabilities

It's hard to see what overlap in functionality they have, eg was it a major loss when GALEX was retired, and do the HST instruments (at any time since 1990 launch) have overlap with other telescopes ? Is HST UV still not replaced - for US, or by any ? - Rod57 (talk) 06:10, 11 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
