Volcanism around 1270 BC and "myth of 10 suns"
editOn a gods & goddesses website it says the "myth of the 10 suns" was "around 1270 BC". This is of course not a reliable source, and cites no source for the date. But assuming the date is "real" (in the sense that there is archeological evidence or something that dates the story itself to a time around then, and semi-conclusive evidence that the story did not exist or was different before then) - was there any volcanism around that time that could explain it?
