I attended the Catholic University of America for my BA - History and Politics and MA - World Politics, although I'm Lutheran. I received my Ph.D. in Public Policy from UMBC. I was born and have lived in America all my life but speak and read Hungarian. In 2011, my alma mater published my translation of the Siege of Sziget, the first in English. I tremendously enjoy classic Nintendo games, Sid Meier's Civilization series, and watching NHK World.
I think Wikipedia is a fantastically useful tool, but believe that it is often given to self-importance, which leads to obnoxious self-analysis and drama. Wikipedia ought to be read and written, and reflected upon only insofar as is necessary to maintain it.
Several things I enjoy on Wikipedia:
- The Northeast Megalopolis, and all its parts.
- All things relating to the Roman Catholic Church.
- All things relating to Professional Wrestling.
- The Washington Metro system.
- Non-mammalian taxonomy.
Isten áldd meg a magyart!
God bless America.
