Born 13th of October. My Clan Montgomery is a Lowland Scotland and Northern Ireland habitational name. Of Anglo-Norman origin, Old French for mont 'Hill' + a Germanic personal name composed of the elements guma 'Man' + ric 'Power'. In Ireland this surname has been Gaelicized as Mac Iomaire and in Scotland as Mac Gumaraid or Mac Gumerait. Paternally, my father's side of the family are of the Iroquois League specifically known within the Six Nations as the Seneca meaning, 'People of the Great Hill', also translatable to the English spelling, Montgomery. Maternally, my father's side of the family are from Stockholm, Sweden of the surname (nee Erickson) and were related to Eric Erickson, a spy during World War II, pretending to be a Nazi. My mother's maternal side of the family are from County Donegal and County Galway, Ireland of the surname O'Donnell and were related to James Michael Curley, an American politican and first Irish Catholic mayor of Boston. My maternal grandfather served as a CIA Station Chief during the Second World War, offering his services and raising a family of eight with Mary Jean (nee O'Donnell) in Vietnam and Africa.
In my childhood I lived on a Texas ranch, formerly of the Republic of Texas, which functioned as an 18th and 19th century slave "plantation house" owned by Mr. Ridel. The property is supposedly haunted.
