This was my guide for the 2021 Arbitration Committee Election. It now serves as the TL;DR version of my 2022 guide.

Fuck off and do your own research on each candidate. Don't let a grumpy old bastard like me persuade you to vote for any one person.

My guide for the 2022 Arbitration Committee Election has been expanded, as some users thought I was being disruptive and trying to make a point.

Voter guides are written in one of three ways - they can be written around the author's own experiences of the candidates, they can be written around an in-depth review of the candidate, or they can be a combination of experience and review. All three approaches have significant weaknesses and you are reliant on either the experiences, and/or the editing and behaviour that was reviewed by the author of the voter guide. They may miss things or make potentially flawed decisions on what is/isn't important. It is therefore absolutely vital that you do your own research on each candidate, ask questions where you feel the need to do so, ask other users for their opinions and make an informed decision before casting your votes.
