- Do a search on Google or your preferred search engine for the subject of the Wikipedia article that you want to create a citation for.
- Find a website that supports the claim you are trying to find a citation for.
- In a new tab/window, go to the citation generator, click on the 'An arbitrary website' bubble, and fill out as many fields as you can about the website you just found.
- Click the 'Get reference wiki text' button.
- Highlight, and then copy (Ctrl+C or Apple+C), the resulting text (it will be something like
<ref> {{cite web | .... }}</ref>
, copy the whole thing). - In the Wikipedia article, after the claim you found a citation for, paste (Ctrl+V or Apple+V) the text you copied.
- If the article does not have a References or Notes section (or the like), add this to the bottom of the page, but above the External Links section and the categories:
==References== {{Reflist}}
Latine
editBut "laine" can be interpreted as being pronounced as Lateen or Latini, so can be confused with that. "Latine" is modern Spanish for the English term Latinx In addition, in the Latin language, "latine" can refer to several topics on Latin (disambiguation). So I don't see how the confusion hatnote is not a good idea. -- 65.92.247.66 (talk) 07:07, 3 April 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry, it seems I made a mistake. You're right. I reverted my reversion. Thank you for the edits and for letting me know. XabqEfdg (talk) 07:09, 3 April 2024 (UTC)
- No problem, thanks for the response -- 65.92.247.66 (talk) 07:13, 3 April 2024 (UTC)

Hip Hop Edit Request
editCould you change the Hip Hop template to look more like this?
This template's initial visibility currently defaults to autocollapse
, meaning that if there is another collapsible item on the page (a navbox, sidebar, or table with the collapsible attribute), it is hidden apart from its title bar; if not, it is fully visible.
To change this template's initial visibility, the |state=
parameter may be used:
{{XabqEfdg|state=collapsed}}
will show the template collapsed, i.e. hidden apart from its title bar.{{XabqEfdg|state=expanded}}
will show the template expanded, i.e. fully visible.

- Hello. I don't know enough about the template to know whether or not this is acceptable. Perhaps try posting the above on the talk page, with the template {{Edit semi-protected}}. You may also want to consider creating an account so that you can make these changes yourself.
- Also, remember not to include categories on user talk pages. I removed them by putting them inside nowiki tags. XabqEfdg (talk) 23:36, 30 April 2024 (UTC)

Deletion discussion about 2007 attack on Emmanuel Mwambulukutu
editHello XabqEfdg, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, 2007 attack on Emmanuel Mwambulukutu, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2007 attack on Emmanuel Mwambulukutu.
Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|BrigadierG}}
. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~

Your user page
editIf you make any edit to your user page, including typing a single space, it will bring that page into existence and your name will no longer appear in red on watch pages. Constant314 (talk) 19:04, 30 May 2024 (UTC)
- I did know about that. Are there any advantages to having a (blank) user page? XabqEfdg (talk) 01:28, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
- Your name no longer appears in red. That usually means "new editor" and extra scrutiny. Constant314 (talk) 03:40, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
- I have created the page, thanks for the advice. XabqEfdg (talk) 02:38, 1 June 2024 (UTC)
