Hi CY and DG. It appears we now have an orphaned article talk page (with my advice added) and a draft article without attribution to an existing user account. So: how to fix this?

I really have *no idea at all* how to fix this. This is just between the three of us, OK? Shh, please don't tell anyone else I wrote this.

When I came across these, it took me far too long (!) for me to realise that the article title and the user name are the same. <eye roll> If I messed up something by deleting the redirs, abject apologies! I've been monitoring the storm for some time now, and I know that it dissipated (at least, according to PAGASA) on 09:00 UTC, so I was weirded out when I saw an article about this topic. So, I moved it, and you moved it back. For your concerns that this storm is "still ongoing", lets wait until the next JMA update, on 12:00 UTC (maybe). For your next point, that this article is "adequately sourced", 50% of the article is not properly sourced. This article is not notable, considering that the storm only made Signal No. 1 and made no deaths, injuries, and/or impacts. You may reply if you want to contest. Correcting name of new article

Hello Yoris, I found no way to correct "Janice fiamengo" to "Janice Fiamengo" (with capital) and to find and remove the Redirect from "Janice Fiamengo" to "Society for Academic Freedom and Scholarship". Could you help me out?Retal (talk) 16:01, 18 December 2024 (UTC)

Bilogy

Regarding this edit, indeed bilogy doesn't refer to duology, that's why I wrote 'incorrect way to refer duology'. It is because collection of 3, 4, 5... books are called trilogy, tetralogy, pentalogy... respectively, where tri, tetra and penta are Greek prefixes. However for 2 there are 'du, di' and also 'bi' from Latin, and a duology series is not very common, so people may confuse dilogy and bilogy with duology. @ExclusiveEditor: I guess we could change the redirect's target to logy#Compound series of works of art, which is where Duology also targets, and perhaps add a hatnote to Biology that says:

"Bilogy" redirects here. For other uses, see Biology.

Creating a dab page, on the other hand, is unnecessary IMO (since a hatnote can be created instead), and considering the fact that creating a disambiguation from a misspelling is generally discouraged. CycloneYoris ^talk! 20:55, 21 December 2024 (UTC)
