The Sierra Nevada is a mountain range that has been called that for centuries. No one calls it the "Sierra Nevada- USA" so that is not recognizable or natural. Per WP:COMMONNAME you should not have renamed the page. If you're new to editing and are genuinely here to help, welcome, and I'd suggest you start small (like not renaming a mountain range, lol) and have WP:RS for whatever you add. Cheers!
