Wikipedia articles on communities are not supposed to contain directories of all the businesses there (WP:NOTDIR), but only the regional/national companies headquartered there and major employers (as verified by statistical data). You've done a nice job of expanding the economic section of Denmark, Wisconsin, but let's try to make it sound less boosterish. A page you started (United States presidential election in Wisconsin, 1964) has been reviewed!

Thanks for creating United States presidential election in Wisconsin, 1964, Fredsteve3!

Wikipedia editor Herostratus just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:

OK looks good

Also just reviewed United States presidential election in Wisconsin, 1960. It also looks fine and thank you much! for creating this fine and needful article.

The only change I made was to add a couple of fields to the ref. This gives the reader quick ability to see who wrote/published the reference (and for the off-line reader, the only way to see this) which could be useful for some readers. (I got the name of the website by going to the top-level page (http://uselectionatlas.org in this case) which I find often gives the site title). This is not necessary and of course in no way are you required to do this! I'm just describing the one change I felt was useful.

I was slightly inclined to mark the ref with {{Better source}}... I don't like to see "Name of Person's webpage" as a ref; it makes me worry that it's a one-man operation and, while the person may be meticulous, we don't know that, and maybe he's not got a copy editor or fact checker vetting his material, which makes me nervous. I didn't mark it. Another editor might have. I'm not criticizing your use of the ref in any way! I would use the same ref. Anyway, I looked for another ref and didn't find one (this would be much better ref since it's a large newspaper -- but it only goes back to 1964 and doesn't give numbers) so the alternative would be no ref which is lot worse.

Anyway, bottom line: great little article, and it looks great also, and appreciate the work you put into it, so again: thank you! Herostratus (talk) 19:40, 19 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of File:Denmark State Bank logo.jpg

edit

The file File:Denmark State Bank logo.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Superseded by c:File:Denmark Bancshares logo.svg.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 01:50, 21 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
