The Top 3 most-popular articles about People in WikiProject Christianity were:
- Pope Benedict XVI – retired prelate of the Catholic Church who served as head of the Church and sovereign of the Vatican City State from 2005 until his resignation.
- Pope Francis – the head of the Catholic Church and sovereign of the Vatican City State. Francis is the first Jesuit pope, the first from the Americas, the first from the Southern Hemisphere, and the first pope from outside Europe since the Syrian Gregory III, who reigned in the 8th century.
- Dolly Parton – an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, actress, author, businesswoman, and humanitarian, known primarily for her work in country music. Quotations related to Dolly Parton at Wikiquote: "I just depend on a lot of prayer and meditation. I believe that without God I am nobody, but that with God, I can do anything."
- ...that the All Saints Church, Henley Brook, the oldest church in Western Australia, held its first service almost eight years before it was consecrated?
- ...that the Golden Madonna of Essen is the oldest preserved sculpture of the Virgin Mary?
- ...that the parish church of James Parkinson, after whom Parkinson's disease is named, was St Leonard's, Shoreditch, a church just outside the City of London and most famous for being one of the churches mentioned in the nursery rhyme "Oranges and Lemons"?
- ...that the Grand Chartophylax was considered the right arm of the Patriarch of Constantinople?
A Song for Simeon, is a 37-line poem written in 1928 by American-English poet T. S. Eliot (1888–1965). It is one of five poems that Eliot contributed to the Ariel poems series of 38 pamphlets by several authors published by Faber and Gwyer. "A Song for Simeon" was the sixteenth in the series and included an illustration by avant garde artist Edward McKnight Kauffer. The poem's narrative echoes the text of the Nunc dimittis, a liturgical prayer for Compline from the Gospel passage. Eliot introduces literary allusions to earlier writers Lancelot Andrewes, Dante Alighieri and St. John of the Cross. Critics have debated whether Eliot's depiction of Simeon is a negative portrayal of a Jewish figure and evidence of anti-Semitism on Eliot's part.

editJstalins talk I am a new editor and I created a new article on the malayalam youtube channel- Karikku. An AFC editor who was impressed by my article, but did not know about the relevant sources used in it, asked it as a question in Wikiproject India. He recieved two indirect but positive responses, and is waiting for more. Please give your valuable comments at Wikipedia talk:Noticeboard for India-related topics#I need a notability check here (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Noticeboard_for_India-related_topics#I_need_a_notability_check_here) --Atlantis77177 (talk) 17:21, 30 October 2020 (UTC)

editPlease do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Theodosius Mar Thoma. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. Elizium23 (talk) 05:08, 14 November 2020 (UTC)

- Jstalins, this edit where I had to remove "Dr." and I constantly have to remove "Aboon" and "Mor" and "Moran" and "Metropolitan" etc. Please read MOS:HON. Honorifics are not used in article prose, infoboxes. Elizium23 (talk) 05:13, 14 November 2020 (UTC)
- @Elizium23: We Should Include a Consistency in all Articles regarding Naming. The Exceptions in naming given should also to be referred. (Mor, Moran are Syriac Words and all cases should be using English Versions). And Infoboxes Naming are done based on the template and must refer to the Template:Infobox Christian leader & Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Infoboxes. J.Stalin S Talk 05:24, 14 November 2020 (UTC)

The file File:Parekkara Achan.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unused picture of non-notable person. Only eight pages of Google results.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Ixfd64 (talk) 23:39, 25 July 2021 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:SBRR Mahajana First Grade College Head.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:SBRR Mahajana First Grade College Head.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{permission pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. Here is a list of your uploads. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 12:29, 27 February 2023 (UTC)

"Daughter Churches" in the Church of Antioch
editHi, I am just wondering the reason for deleting the list. I actually thought it was quite helpful information. I had read it before and went back today, just to find it deleted. It follows the equivalent list given under the Ecumenical Patriarchate, since these two were Mother Churches to most churches until the ROC. Also, I do must say, I like your additions and see why you added them. Thanks. Coquidragon (talk) 22:31, 16 January 2024 (UTC)
