Clean up after move

edit

When you move, such as Le prophète (opera), can you please "clean up", that is fix the links? I did one for you, in the navbox at the bottom of that page, where only proper matches are found, not redirects. I have no time for more. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:39, 22 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

The situation Wisdood created is a mess. The entry for the opera on the disambiguation page Le Prophète redirects to itself, the disambiguation page. The move was unnecessary and I'm going to initiate a WP:RM to restore the previous article name. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 00:45, 23 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of CRP Radios

edit

The article CRP Radios has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of WP:notability. Just seems to be a link to a non English article on another language wikipedia. Not appropriate here.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. noq (talk) 09:48, 24 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Priya Varrier

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Priya Varrier, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. --Let There Be Sunshine 15:44, 27 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of SMIB

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on SMIB requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an orphaned disambiguation page which either

  • disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic);
  • disambiguates zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
  • is a redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" that does not target a disambiguation page or page that has a disambiguation-like function.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Legacy of Taras Shevchenko, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Shevchenko Park. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:05, 2 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Bagram

edit

Please wp:cite a wp:reliable source (RS) for your edit to Bagram. This is needed per wp:verifiability. See help:referencing for beginners. I can see that it might be considered "abandonment", but an RS needs to make that statement. The "Reports of the area claim that the NRF killed the Bagram district chief, the Taliban did not confirm or deny the reports." did not appear to be sourced, so I removed it. If you know of a source, please restore the info with the source. Or, let me know on my talk page and I'll replace it with your source. Please help keep Wikipedia verifiable! It's the only way the encyclopedia has any credibility. Thank you Adakiko (talk) 09:59, 16 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

I am not a Wikipedia beginner.
I will look for sources. I do not want to make a political statement against the Joe Biden administration.
By the way you have deleted all my changes in the article. Wisdood (talk) 10:08, 16 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
