Usage

This template requests a quotation to illustrate the usage of a term.

Parameters

|1= (required)

The language code of the term needing a quotation. See Wiktionary:List of languages. Use und if a single language doesn't apply, e.g. in templates, categories and appendices.

|2=

An optional comment to be displayed in the request message.

|sort=

The sort key for the page; rarely needs to be specified.

|nocat=1

Disable categorization of this page.

|inline=1

Display the message inline instead of in a box.

This template adds the page to the subcategory of Category:Requests for quotations by language specified by the language given at |1=.
