G is for Iron Gates. ... No, I is for Iron Gates. Isn't that caption silly? -- Sortie (212.242.57.108 (talk) 22:39, 9 March 2009 (UTC))Reply

G is for Castle :-) --JamesCrook (talk) 18:43, 29 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Yeah this photo has a castle, which is in the background behind the gate, but it's still a bit too prominent really. It's a bit confusing for kids. Ideally want a more crisp clear photo of a gate and only a gate.
Looking through commons:Category:Wrought iron gates by country, there's this one:
...which is quite crisp and clear. Is this a bit too bright red? Or can anyone find a little wooden garden gate perhaps?

@Harry Wood:
Fairly clear that it's a gate (which isn't so clear for some of the wooden ones).
It's a nice wooden gate, but I find it oddly just a bit visually confusing.
Serviceable. For some reason I don't get as much of a sense of fun from it as I'd hope for; maybe it's just me?

Ooh yeah. These are all clearer than the current gate. I think the middle one is my favourite (File:Garden Gate.JPG). A small one like this is the best type of gate. I can relate to this gate :-) -- Harry Wood (discusscontribs) 00:04, 19 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
Okay, trying that one. --Pi zero (discusscontribs) 01:28, 19 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
