Randjelovic was conducting a training flight at the time of the accident and was preparing for the Belgrade aircraft acrobatics show.

The Serbian Air Force has five MiG-29s which were repaired between 2007 and 2008 at a cost of 15m (£13 m).

The cause of the crash is still unknown, pending an official investigation.
