Bílovka
Appearance
The Bílovka River is a river running through Czech Silesia in the north-east part of the Czech Republic. The river passes through the city of Bílovec and small villages before it splits and merges with multiple reservoirs to the east. The river merges with the smaller river Skřípovský potok and the Sezina river. Until recently, the Bílovka used to be one of the most drained rivers in its region, and in 2014 monitoring of regulation works started. The banks of the Bíklova have been strengthened, and the river itself has been straightened. Between 2003 and 2010 a bridge was built across the Bílovka, Jamník and Sezina rivers. The bridge is 6,372 meters long and has 16 sections.
