NGC 6528

NGC 6528 is a globular cluster in the Sagittarius, which is listed in the New General Catalogue. it has magnitude 11 and diameter of 1 arc minute, and given class V with stars 16th magnitude and dimmer. The globular cluster was discovered in 1784 by the astronomer William Herschel with his 18-inch telescopes.

It is seen close to Gamma2 Sagittarii and NGC 6522.

It is located in the so-called "Baade's window, in the direction of the galactic center, the view is not clouded by dust from the Milky Way.
