better Plot needed

This is hardly a great film (though I love the scene where William Schallert beats up the alien and threatens him with asphyxiation. Nor do I object to sarcasm. But it would be nice if the Plot section actually gave a proper description, however brief. WilliamSommerwerck (talk) 03:30, 14 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, its less a plot summary, and more a critique.

Per the wiki page for The Day The Earth Stood Still, filming took place over April-May 1951. The Man From Planet X was released in March 1951, a month before The Day The Earth Stood Still started filming, not six months after it finished. 86.28.95.181 (talk) 23:17, 21 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
