There's a page on Rebecca Black, who has one song, ever released ever. And yet you consider my band Unstable un-notable here on wikipedia, and had my article deleted. The girl might have a lot of hits, but we have multiple albums, revenue from our album sales, ect. Like I said back in February, the decision to remove Unstable was unfair and wrong. I think it further proves your biased opinions towards local unsigned artists, and discrimination of matierial that goes on wikipedia. I don't understand who gives people like you authority on here, because you're not elping the sight, your nit picking, and discriminating on it. Do you consider having one youtube song as passing rule #7?

Duff isn't trying to offend you or target you, he's just following the guidelines of Wikipedia, I think he's often delete happy but there you have it. I had a look for some articles for your band to try and help you out with this, but I really can't find anything. You should have a look over at WP:notability and give a read through the types of things which justify notability, if you can find yourself some third party coverage for references (things like interviews, reviews etc. at major music websites or in street press or newspapers) that will help your case. If you can't find these things then unfortunately you probably can't be on Wikipedia right now, because encyclopaedic claims need to be verified and there's a set of notability criteria you need to meet. I've had articles I've created about independent bands deleted so I know it's frustrating, probably more so given it's your own band, but if you really want an article on wikipedia then go and get yourself some third party coverage, some radio play or chart success and then come back. The fact is Rebecca Black is a household name, has received huge amounts of media coverage and her one song has charted in nearly 20 countries, that constitutes notability, facebook/myspace pages do not do so. Hope this helps! Stevezimmy (talk) 07:25, 28 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

And One

May I question why you are particularly interested in deleting the And One pages? I know they lack some of the requirements, but bear in mind, that kind of information (charts, awards, reviews etc) isn't actually readily available for that band as they're not actually very well renowned. The information on each page is essentially all that is available. Maybe you could try and improve the articles yourself instead of just deleting them? LostSpies 10:47 PM, 9 April 2011

You've just about answered your own question. The lack of available information. Wikipedia is not a place for original research, which these articles largly are. Remove that and you just have little more than a track listing. (see WP:NALBUMS). I did try to improve, the only one I succeded on was Bodypop, so I have not nominated that one (ironically the test case to see if I was on the right track or missing something). duffbeerforme (talk) 11:32, 12 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
